Lose 10 Pounds Fast

Deciding to start a weight loss plan is easy, but staying motivated to stick with it is a challenge.  If we could only lose 10 pounds fast, we would be more motivated to stick with out weight loss plan in the long run.  So how can this be done easily?

 
Extreme dieting is never a good option for long-term weight loss.  First, it's nearly impossible to stick to, and second, it can be dangerous for your health.
 
Instead, follow a sort-of-extreme plan for a couple of weeks to lose ten pounds quickly, and then revert back to a healthier eating plan.
 
The first thing you will want to do is plan out your meals for the next two weeks.  This works out best if you have nothing going on for the next 14 days and can control what you eat at each meal.
 
Your meals for the next two weeks will be made up of mostly vegetables and lean protein.  Try to limit your carb intake as much as possible, and eat your carbs earlier in the day.  An example meal plan might be:
 
Breakfast:  Egg white and veggie omelet with one piece of dry whole wheat bread
 
Snack:  Almonds and apple
 
Lunch:  Large salad with lean turkey breast or chicken.  Low calorie dressing.
 
Snack:  Orange
 
Dinner:  Grilled chicken and vegetables
 
Be as creative as you can with the foods you like while following this two week plan.  Also, make sure you are getting enough calories per day to sustain your health and activity.  
 
If you follow this plan and lose 10 pounds fast, you'll be motivated to continue a healthy eating plan of your choice.
