I purchased this ebook a few years back when I was into running. I knew running would help me to shed body fat, but I needed to know how to eat to keep up my energy and metabolism, while shedding my body fat quickly.
This is an extensive book - maybe almost too extensive. For those of you who want a quick 10 page tutorial, then this ebook is definitely not for you. For those of you who want the honest-to-goodness truth on exactly how to lose your body fat, then this ebook is all you’ll ever need.
It comes with a few bonus items, such as quick guides on foods to eat and foods to avoid, which is very useful if you’re not sure where to start.
What I personally took away from this ebook is how to figure out exactly how many calories I need per day to lose body fat quickly while keeping my muscles. This was invaluable to me as a runner. (And because I want to look GOOD! Not “skinny-fat” like some dieters end up looking.)
I also learned how to break up those calories into what I needed for protein, carbs, and fat. What I didn’t know going in was that 1 gram of protein is 4 calories, 1 gram of carbs is 4 calories, and 1 gram of fat is 9 calories. (You’ll use these numbers quite a bit when you’re figuring out your own meal plans.)
After I got the necessary numbers for me and my husband, I then worked on specific meal plans for each of us. This took me the good part of a Sunday to come up with foods we liked that fit. (We are picky eaters!) If you’re worried about this taking too long, think about this: most people only ever rotate between 10-15 meals, so it doesn’t really take that long.
So did it work in the longrun? I honestly wouldn’t be writing this “Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle Review” if it didn’t. I’d have scrapped that plan and been on to the next one a long time ago. Honestly, it’s the only plan I’ve found that’s not based on “hype”, that actually works like it says it does, and that is easy to follow, even for picky eaters. I was able to build up my mileage running without feeling lethargic from dieting. And I have great legs now…and that’s all I ever wanted!
