100 Days of Weight Loss Review

100 Days of Weight Loss: The Secret to Being Successful on Any Diet Plan is a book written by Linda Spangle.  It first appeared in bookstores early 2006, but has made an impact worth mentioning.

100 Days of Weight Loss does not focus on any specific diet plan.  Rather, it lets you choose the diet plan that fits for you.  After you have chosen your diet, you will then commit to it for 100 days.

During your 100 day commitment, you'll read a short excerpt from this book each day.  The book is intended to reaffirm your commitment to your health and diet, as well as to motivate you to continue on.  Putting a time limit on it, 100 days, helps the user to think of this as an easier challenge than commiting to a healthy lifestyle for life.  100 days is easy; a lifetime is daunting.

While some people may think this approach to weight loss is too time consuming, others see it as a great tool for sticking with their weight loss program.  Honestly, if you think that reading a couple of pages a day is too time consuming, then how much time are you really willing to put towards making your health a priority?

The writer's approach to weight loss is to provide you with daily tools to change your ingrained habits of emotional eating.  Let's face it, most weight problems are an effect of emotional eating.  If that were not true, we'd only eat when we are hungry, and we'd only eat what provided us with the best nutrients.

If you need that extra push to stick with your favorite diet plan, then 100 Days of Weight Loss may be the tool you're looking for.  As long as you can provide the commitment to read a couple of pages of it everyday, you can successfully complete your 100 day journey to better health.
